I'm a storyteller and experience-creator through music or words. I’m a creative with no interest in playing small or being another "starving artist" you’ve never heard of. It’s far too easy to spend your life oblivious to it. I seek to inspire creatives, whether through my music or my words, to chase their dreams because our crumbling world needs their value and light. With a graduate degree in music, I’ve spent a large part of my life studying what it takes to perform at the highest level. My journey on my instrument (French Horn) has allowed me the opportunity to play amazing gigs or events such as the mayoral inauguration in Chicago in 2023, composer Marcus Norris’s score for the feature film “Honk for Jesus: Save Your Soul,” and on the album released by Cedille Records entitled “Leo Sowerby: The Paul White Commissions & Other Early Works” with the Andy Baker Orchestra. As a music composer, my work has garnered critical acclaim. It’s been hailed by the Chicago Classical Review as “distinctive,” “strongly individual and compelling” and showcased “great promise for the young composer.” Lastly, I’m a prolific writer on Medium.
